Crossing

Full of anecdotes and everything you can - or can't  - imagine about sailing from Holland to England. Ben Hoekendijk's course "Crossing to England". The retired vicar who earned a new career by publishing about some of his remarkable journey's. He sailed his yacht  'Shalom IV' - a Victoire 933 -  around England, Schotland, the Atlantic, the Carib and to the northern archipelagos of Faeröer, Lofoten, all the way to Svalbard (Spitsbergen).

Also his 10 crossings of the notorious 'Bay of Biscay' deserve admiration.
