A tip from a long distance sailor: "Before you attempt to cross any serious water, create an overview of power consupmtion on board. It may surprise you!"

Indeed it does.... Aging reduced the two big 180Ah batteries to 150 Ah each. Which leaves effectively 150 Ah to cool beer....

Before our trip to Norway, we need a third battery. One that's completely separated from the boat's net.
