Big Dig Delft (part 24)

Along the construction site
Delft is beginning to look more and more like a construction site. Large cranes dig the hole that will bring the railway line and our station underground. The dig is at mere centimeters from the facades of adjacent buildings, resulting in a peculiar view from my favorite starting point for photography: "the bar."
Once outside, more cranes than trees line the streets.
Meanwhile life goes on. In Delft - a university city - people celebrate their degree (or quietly slip back into anonymity).
And we even got wild life, flourishing amidst the chaos of building machines, sand and concrete.
