Knitted netting

The age of the Cathode Ray Tube has long gone. But even a Catalina 36 MkII still comes equipped with one of those corner cabinets, that's good for just one thing: "A CRT TV behind a sliding door." That the sliding door gets stuck if you store anything else in it but a TV, has raised my temper more than once.

This weekend it got so stuck on the medicine box, that any hung-over medication was impossible without removing the entire door; which is impossible to get back into its rails. Of course...
A good excuse to throw the door in a deep storage locker and replace it with netting stretched on elastic band. And while it has that 'ocean going' look & feel, the book shelves got the same treatment...
