Best known for its
water today, the 2000 souls Geracu Siculo was inhabitated during the reign of the Roman Empire already. Even the Greeks had a name for it before that (Jerax). It's not a town where you find stunning landmarks, today. Even the 'Castello' is a ruin of no importance. But it is a place where you can enjoy being in Italy, away from the crowds.
