And the next trip....

My flight to Bahrain was cancelled and initially rebooked by KLM flying Turkish Airlines to Istanbul and onwards to Bahrain. No way I am going to Turkey at the moment and certainly not with Erdogan Airlines; by all means, go there if you liked Germany the way it was in 1937... So Abu Dhabi it is, with Etihad to Bahrain. 

On the KLM 451 to Abu Dhabi, I had a very special conversation with the purser about the last time I was on a flight from that airport back home...
