The name itself sounds hot. And it is very hot. Fortunately Mosaic Canyon, with its polished marble-walls, is just a two mile hike. The first 1/2 mile is narrowest section and most interesting, some rock scrambling necessary. The name is after "Mosaics" of fragments of rocks cemented together. They say you can see Bighorn sheep there, but they must've found a place with air conditioning this day.
